Terms of service
Terms for using MailTrace
Updated 13 October 2026. These terms describe the basic rules for testing and using MailTrace, an evidence and chronology workspace operated by Andrea Capera.
The service
MailTrace helps organise correspondence, documents and related evidence into cases, issues and timelines, with links back to original sources. The product is in testing and may change or be unavailable during development.
Your responsibilities
Connect only accounts and upload only information you have the right to access and process. Do not use MailTrace for unlawful access, harassment, surveillance or misuse of another person’s information. You remain responsible for reviewing evidence and checking generated findings against their sources.
Account connections and privacy
Microsoft account connections request delegated sign-in and mailbox-read permissions. Google sign-in requests basic profile and email information; it does not provide Gmail inbox access. You can revoke either connection through the provider’s account settings. Our Privacy policy describes the information used and stored by the service.
AI assistance and decisions
AI-assisted findings are assistance for your review. MailTrace does not provide legal advice, guarantee the accuracy of generated material, or guarantee legal outcomes. Return to the original evidence before relying on a finding.
Availability and saved information
During testing, functionality may change or be interrupted. Signing out or revoking an account connection does not automatically remove saved records. Contact MailTrace with questions about access to, or deletion of, your account data.
